HOMEMADE FACE MASK & BODY SCRUB

Treat yourself to an at home spa with these two amazing recipes. The coffee and coconut body scrub is perfect for waking yourself up in the morning. We know it is a little less excited getting ready for a day in quarantine but this will hopefully help you start your day right! The oat and honey face mask is the perfect way to end a long day in quarantine. It’s soothing and nourishing and will have your skin looking brighter than ever when you step back into the outside world. The honey is moisturising, and the turmeric is an anti-inflammatory, making them wonderful for a good de-stress too. 

Spending an hour in the tub with a glass of wine or two is self-care if you wear a face mask while doing it., right?

OAT & HONEY FACE MASK
Makes 3-4 masks

INGREDIENTS
1/4 cup plain oats
1/4 cup plain yogurt
juice of half a lemon or 1 teaspoon rosewater
1/3 teaspoon turmeric
1 teaspoon honey
1/2 teaspoon sandalwood powder (optional)

COFFEE & COCONUT BODY SCRUB

INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 cup coconut oil
1 cup coffee grounds
2-3 drops of your favourite essential oil (optional)
